Great Tit (Parus major) by William Hope of Edinburgh. Beautiful little polished pine case that was Hope's trademark, together with a delicate painting to the backboard. Whilst the case is genuine, the specimen is a new bird by Tony Armitstead. Size 7" x 9" x 4.5". <click image to enlarge>
